- Should your flight be cancelled by us due to unsuitable weather or other safety or operational reasons, you will be able to reschedule or request a full refund for up to 36 months from the date on which you made your original booking cannot be altered or cancelled within 72 hours of your flight.

- This activity is not suitable for pregnant people
- This balloon basket does not have a door. You will need to be able to climb aboard the basket using foot holds cut in to the side of the basket in order to participate in this adventure activity.

This year, my amazing wife booked the adventure herself—a sunrise flight with Balloon Aloft for me, her, our three boys, and one son’s girlfriend made a last minute booking. Honestly? It was the most uplifting family outing we’ve ever had—and that includes the time we all managed to assemble IKEA furniture without arguing.
From the first flame of the burner to our feather-soft landing, it was smooth skies and sky-high smiles. The crew? Total basket cases in the best way—full of energy, warmth, and just enough hot air to keep us all laughing (and floating).
Pilot? Cooler than the breeze at 3,000 feet. And the ride? Smoother than a balloonist’s pickup line.
Watching the sunrise while drifting silently above the world with my whole family—now that’s parenting altitude. The boys were speechless (a rare atmospheric event), my wife was glowing brighter than the horizon, and the girlfriend may or may not now believe we’re the coolest family on Earth.
The views? Inflated with beauty. The bonding? Helium-level high. The banter in the basket? Elevated dad-joke territory. We floated, we laughed, we soaked it all in like a family of wide-eyed weather balloons.
And then—just when we thought we couldn’t get any higher-breakfast. Because what goes up must come down... for food of course!
Huge thanks to Balloon Aloft for turning a thoughtful Mother’s Day gift into a core memory wrapped in clouds. It was peaceful, joyful, and honestly? Lighter than therapy and cheaper than five individual spa days.
We came. We floated. We family-flamed our way into the sky.
Would we do it again? Only every time we want to reconnect at 3,000 feet.
Amanda introduced us to the venue, the instructions before we went out. BTW the Camden valley Inn is so beautiful. Thereafter we were taken to the site where the balloon was getting inflated which is 17mins drive from the Inn. Absolutely gorgeous once we were up 3000feet in the clouds. It felt so serene. Felt like a Bird. It was an awesome experience in participating folding of the the balloon after our tour. I would recommend doing this to everyone. It’s worth doing it. Thank you to the whole crew.
